Flattery will get you everywhere

April 30, 2018

In Monday’s edition of “Inside Scoop”, Mark investigates the extent of how other world leaders may use President Trump’s supreme need for affection as a tool to get what they want out of him.
Mark also evaluates comedian Michelle Wolf’s performance at the White House Correspondence Dinner.
He thinks some criticisms of her material are fair, not so much because of the targets, but more so her jokes just fell flat.

Should the President be able to Obstruct Justice?

Today’s entire show is dedicated to the Special Counsel’s Trump-Russia investigation. This includes an interview during the second half hour of the show with Congressman Ted Lieu (D-CA), a member of the House Foreign Affairs and House Judiciary Committees. Just last week Rep. Lieu introduced the Special Counsel Transparency Act, a bill that would preserve the important work of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation in the event that President Trump fires him.

Frustrated by James Comey

April 12, 2018

I’m joined by callers as I delve deep into the interview between James Comey and ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos.
I read the transcript of the interview, much of which didn’t make it on TV because of its length.
My biggest takeaways are how the Russians and the right wing media had even more to do with Trump being elected than we previously had thought.
I also believe that while James Comey was honest, he had major lapses in judgement when it came to dealing with the subject of Hillary Clinton’s emails.
