Robt.–McCain’s acquiescence to neo-con imperialist intentions indicates a confused man who is being led by the hand by coersion of the deep Pentagon–McCain’s laureled persona is so defined by his military past–that he lets his concepts of military bravado–cloud his political positions–rather than seeing through military conundrums to political solutions
Vicky–the search for peace in a warring world belongs to brave-hearts with wisdom enough to end conflict with love–unwitting warmongers operating within violent dinosaur delusions–make willful choices with a lack of moral authority–that could be called cowardice

I do agree that Sen McCainseems to have become the most decorated POW’s of our time. McCain was issue the Silver Star for “Conspicuous Gallantry” for the time period of 27 Oct to 08 Dec 1967. Again one day after he was shot down and captured?
Sen John McCain himself, admits to to having givin information to the enemy for medical treatment. Torture hadn’t been employed as yet.
I agree with a David Hackworth’s assement of McCain. Where as McCain was a survivor and not actually a hero in military definition or in general populace defining as well.
Jessica Lynch was rescued from a hospital that had no enemy soldiers and was trapsed out as a HERO. The rescued become the heroes?
My own Senator , Chuck Hagel served in vietnam’s conflit and combat. Is there a difference to a hagel hunting and being hunted in the jungle every day verses McCain’s POW stint? One thing is fact, that the Vietnamese were well aware of John McCain’s Admiral father. They had captured an American prince.
Now the war strategy and tactics learned by Sen Hagel verses the war tactics of and strategy learned by Sen McCain’s POW stint is very telling in itself.
Hagel who is a strong educated disapproving force of how the war in Iraq is being prosecuted vs McCain’s continuance of Bush’s “Stay the course policy” at 6 month increments if need be.
Hagel who was not a POW disapproves of torture and the mayham of everyday war he woke up in daily and McCain as a POW approves of torture and only knew a brief moment of flying overhead and dropping ordinance and of course the war from inside a POW camp.
Yes, Sen McCain may now be one of the Keating five, a Senator that votes against veterans benefits almost every chance he gets (while taking every benefit as a US Senator).
You do raise a point of PTSD. He show every sign of it. And it doesn’t appear he has recieved any treatment for it at all.
Would you agree that his medical records be released before the election?
At his age there are medical problems that will effect his dicision making as President. Cancer treatment leaves side effects to the mental state. Untreated PTSD. PTSD that has been untreatable? Dementia is very possible for hisso called gaffes of campaign mishaps.
“Iran training Al Qaida”. Is McCain saying this to confale a war with Iran or is his mind not able to retain these facts? You don’t think McCain truely doesn’t understand the Iraq situation do you?
