Since when has the US been concerned about mass slaughter? This government turns a blind eye to it when it benefits the multinational corporations. Sadam Husein was our good buddy when he gassed the Kurds back in the 80s. A half million dead children in Iraq in the 90s due to sanctions, no problem. I could go on and on, but I don’t have the time.

The U.S. is already turning a blind eye to millions of Iraqi refugees–now–think of the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis already dead–does that qualify as a mass slaughter?
    Mike–the answer to your question–when Bush leaves office–will be–NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Your nebulous threats are for cowards

If the United States Pulled out of Iraq now, there would be a mass slaughter and mass dislocation similiar to when the British split of India (Hindu) and Pakistan (Muslim). Figure the death of the million people who have signed up to help the United States (Iraqi Army & Police) and a million Iraqi civilian collatoral damage deaths.
Is the two to four deaths a day, or 1,000 annual losses every year for the next ten years, worth the price of protecting two million lives? Especially since we, the United States under the leadership of George W Bush create this anarchy from the Saddam Hussien dictatorship.
