The Pardon of Scooter Libby

July 23, 2007

Audio Archive
Did the Vice President of the United States commit a traitorous act?
Is the President of the United States covering up for the Vice President?
Should this pardon be a factor leading to articles of impeachment to remove George Bush from office?
Why do Republicans feel that lying over a consensual sex act is grounds to remove a President from office, but committing treason isn’t grounds for removing the Vice President or putting his Chief of Staff in prison?
Mark will play his exclusive interview with Ambassador Joseph Wilson on this very subject.

Mark, the right has glossed over the fact that leaking the Plame conecttion is treason the the United States of America! Plus we do not even know how many people lost their lives over the leak and it shut down a operation into weapons of mass destruction discovery for the safety of the USA. This was not a minor sexual scandal this is treason plain and simple. The whole infastructer of a covert operation is gone because of the stupidity of the so called leaders that destroyed it for personal gain, to have war they profit tremendously from and these acts make we I mean US weaker and more vulnerable.
I can’t believe the CIA is not appalled by the administrations crime!!!

OK. That was a bit harsh, but it’s a stupid comparison. The better comparison would be between Clinton, who lied about a consensual sex act and Bush, who lied about a nuclear menace to the United States in order to trick us into a war that transfered billions of dollars from the US taxpayers to his friends in the military contractor/oil industries while costing the lives of 3586 American servicemen and women (thus far), 20000+ wounded, and 100,000s of Iraqis. Neither goes to jail for their lies, but one of them should be impeached. Guess which one I think should be impeached?
(Hint: it’s not even really even for the lie but for his intentional violations of the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments to the United States Constitution.)

Tina, let me repeat this slowly and carefully so you can understand: Clinton was not charged with nor convicted of any crime whatsoever. You can’t go to jail unless convicted of a crime. So obviously, there was never any question about whether Clinton would go to jail.
As for whether I think you are stupid, why yes…yes, I do.

Let me spell it out for you. Clinton lied about consentual sex. Libby lied about a treasonous act.

Hello people, he was NOT pardoned. Clinton is an idiot to act like he is innocent. He never went to jail for lying so why should Libby? Dang, does he think we are all stupid aka democrats and don’t get that?
