Darth Rush–"Supreme Leader" of the Republican Party

March 4, 2009

Like a thankful vassal in the Middle Ages, Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele has now officially groveled before his overlord Rush Limbaugh, the de facto leader of the Republican Party, and apologized for suggesting that he (Steele) was in charge of Republicans while Rush was merely an ugly entertainer.
The Dark Side of the Force under Darth Rush’s cruel regime is strong. No Republican ever dare criticize their “Supreme Leader”. Cheney and Rove have been replaced. Darth Rush reigns supreme.

    Niemand,
Of course you, conservatives nor any republicans have never and would never live in Jackboot lockstep.
Of course, Rush doesn’t ask any of his Ditto Heads to follow his water carrying for the Republican party? Rush’s republican party daily memo that he spends his day on the radio with isn’t lockstep.
What of Reagan’s 11th comandment. The Republican blasphemy of the Bible.
“Thou shalt not speak poorly of another Republican”.

Why would there be a need for any Dem to apologize for anything Rosie says? Everyone in the left wing is marching lockstep to the same drumbeat, so they need not worry about offending one faction or another. I don’t believe our president in training is the leader of the DNC. If I had to venture a guess, I’d say it is the guy running his telepromter.

Yes. If the head of the Democratic Party (President Obama) and several Democratic Members of Congress at first criticize her and then scrape and bow and apologize within 24 hours and admit that Rosie was right and their criticism was wrong, I think you could say that she was the de facto leader of the Democratic Party.
    Of course, that hasn’t happened.
