That was just before the native American traded furs for a set of steak-knives

    Yummy
As When the first euro-settler spoke for the first time to a native American. The Native American asked of the euro-settler,
“Why you speak with Forked tongue”?
As meaningful then as it is today, don’t you think?

That old Cherokee was such a bad hunter–he became a cannibal
    Eat Me!
    Nobody likes a cannibal,
but what is behind this taboo?
It’s not that humans taste that bad,
    I’m told it’s a bit like pork.
But people say it’s morally wrong.
    Morally wrong?
More morally wrong than eating a cow that we kill for such a purpose?
When we could take spiritually-devoid human corpses and extrude the remains,
    into hot dogs,
and feed the twenty-thousand children that starve to death on this planet each day?
    ???????????????MORALLY WRONG????????????
How do we compare morality to starvation,
the abstract to a most practical reality?
If we realized who we really are——
——-spirit-indwelt creatures using our bodies as mere husks,
    we wouldn’t care about cannibalism,
after our spirits have left them, we would gladly give our bodies,
    for someone else’s sustenance.
Instead of funerals we could have Thanksgiving dinners,
where the deceased would truly be the Guest of Honor,
with an apple in its mouth.
