Does Anybody Give a Damn About Arab Civilians…Murdered and Beaten by Hamas?

January 12, 2009

Sorry.
Stupid question.
A dead Palestinian Arab is a meaningless statistic.
Unless he/she is killed by Jews.

Here are some disturbing images of Hamas mistreatment of Palestinians (narrated by a Christian Arab Israeli):

Note how the Los Angeles Times buried the lead in its recent story. This interesting nugget is found in middle of paragraph 7:

Days and nights are spent attempting to outmaneuver Israeli forces and to control Fatah sympathizers or alleged collaborators, scores of whom are under house arrest or have been systematically shot in the legs.

Systematically shot in the legs? Funny. I didn’t hear that on CNN. But ya know what? It’s not near the worst of it.

Read The New York Times.

There’s a lot more:

Executing at least 35 Palestinian opponents of Hamas

Shooting at least 75 of them in the legs. Breaking their hands. (Hamas officially confirmed this!)

Commandeering Shifa Hospital as its central meeting place, paying salaries of its terrorists there and practically daring Israel to bomb it. They wear doctors’ robes and kick medical teams out of rooms so they can hold meetings. Since Israel can’t bomb a hospital for moral reasons, it is the safest place for Hamas to meet to plan its executions, torture, and military strikes. The United Nations has refused to deny that Hamas meets in its hospitals and underneath them in a huge underground bunker in the center of Gaza City.

“Palestinians being held at gunpoint in order to put them at the front, in order to increase the number of Palestinian casualties on the Gaza side.”

Preventing Gaza residents from evacuating their homes to flee the fighting.

Hamas snipers targeting aid workers then blaming Israel.

Stealing humanitarian aid: food and medical supplies. Keeping some. Selling others to raise money for terrorist operations.

Hijacking convoys of aid trucks.

Booby-trapping schools.

So those hundreds of truckloads of “humanitarian aid” meant to go for free to the civilians of Gaza? Sorry. Hamas is keeping it and selling it to finance its terrorist operations. Sorry, world and Israel. You meant well. No good deed goes unpunished.

Will anyone demonstrate against the civilians murdered by Hamas? Or the commandeering of a hospital by terrorists? Don’t bet on it. You see people only demonstrate when Israel accidentally kills Arab civilians placed as human shields in front of Hamas. When Hamas purposely murders Palestinian civilians, those civilians are meaningless to the propaganda cause. Their lives are worthless.

No “well-meaning demonstrator” gives a damn about the life of any Palestinian civilian.
Unless that life can be used as a way to encourage the annihilation of Israel.

Maybe these demonstrators are not so “well-meaning” after all.

As noted above, the New York Times, to its credit, has covered this and covered it well. The full text of its article is in the comments below.

But when will CNN report the Palestinians murdered and tortured by Hamas?

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.

    Sean,
I have no doubt that U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon means what he says of what his eyes tell him.

What does U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon say to resolve this from its hideous cycle?

What did U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon say of Hamas and its attacks and mission statement of,
” death to all Jews and erasing them from Israel altogether”?

Did he condemn Hamas for killing and terrorizing Israeli city areas?

What was U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon position and where are his statements and actions to stop Hamas from provoking this?

One can poke a polar bear all day through the bars without concern for ones own safety. But remove the safety comfort bars in which you poke the polar bear, it becomes highly risky business.

    Who took the higher risk,

the Israeli’s in their incursion or Hamas lobing rockets aimlessly.

Most note worthy, the U.N. has become enept on its own. What U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
needs to do is take his thoughts to the U.N. and convince its nation participants into the best action it can muster. Not make stamenets to the media.

Besides, When it comes to the media, you tritely tell me I am spoon fed propaganda. Yet when you have a media report it always seems to be fact and truth and pure as the driven snow. Why is that?
