Then a discussion of Renisha McBride, the 19-year old black woman killed in the middle of the night after she had an accident in a white neighborhood and went door to door seeking help. She was shot in the face with a 12-gauge shotgun by a middle-aged white man who said he thought she was breaking in. He claims the gun was discharged accidentally.
