Big Love
Love stronger than hate,
greater than despair,
power vibrating higher
than primal ears can hear,
Love stranger than fate
of ignominious death
from vicious hands
dealing out unearned suffering,
Love beyond blame,
a life force of an open heart,
becoming the vortex of the miraculous,
empty of everything but eternal truth,
Love standing for Holiness
in revelation’s ecstatic impulse
piercing cosmic darkness
with the light of consciousness,
tipping the scale of world awareness
toward Christ.
