    Hi Mark,
    Hey, my first post!
I listened to your Debate Tuesday show today, Wednesday. usually a day or two behind on getting the podcast.
What I kept coming up with from Jim’s comments was denial, denial, denial…the Rightists are clearly in denial about what is happening throughout our country.
I say Rightist because they don’t deserve to be called “Conservative”. Conservative values would be Helping those in need, Conserving our collective well-being; Conservatives would develop health care for all so that we might all grow and prosper; Conservatives would…well, Conserve our environment in a sustainable manner for future generations, the commons, instead of reaping short-term gains by mountaintop removal and stream destruction in Appalachia, for instance.
Rightists need to get out more and talk to the working poor in America. Jim was simply an apologist for every policy the Republicans have dreamt-up to squeeze the poor and concentrate wealth in the hands of fewer and fewer WHITE MEN(I’m white myself).
I think it’s time we moved our capitol to, oh, I don’t know, let’s say Ohio or Kansas or nebraska, or, what the hell, San Francisco!
The political Washington is a festering, pus-filled sore and it needs lancing, stat.
I hope the Republicans are enjoying their little Power Spree in the Capitol, it ‘aint gonna last.
As jimmy Cliff sang “the harder they come, the harder they fall”.
Oh, and Thank you Mr. Fitzpatrick, Mr. Earle et al
