Did Bush Have a Listening Device in the Debates?

October 17, 2004

(archived broadcast )
My guest tonight, author Dave Lindorff, broke the story on that shows a strange rectangular object underneath Bush’s jacket in each of the first two debates. Is Bush getting help from his handlers? Dave thinks so!

Dave is also the author of “This Can’t Be Happening.” You can find information on Dave, his book, and the mysterious device under Bush’s shirt by clicking here.
Can this be happening? How will you feel on Wednesday November 3?
1) if you wake up to hear John Kerry has won;
2) if you wake up to hear George Bush has won; or
3) if you wake up to find the election is again disputed and in the courts?

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.

    I am offended by Bush’s impersonation of a strong president

    I am offended by Bush’s unfair impersonation of me.

    Very good Nathan be a citizen and vote–now be a true patriot for Democracy and vote for Kerry.
    And don’t forget to advocate HR 1673–which supports a cabinet-level Department of Peace

    Mark, that sounds un-American to say someone’s vote counts more than another’s–does this hint that the electoral college is unconstitutional in not allowing, in practical terms, one-man,one- vote?

  • Mark Levine October 19, 2004 10:07 am

    What are the issues that will most sway your vote? Let’s name them all, in order of importance to you, and discuss the candidates’ positions.
    You may be a “presumptive Republican” but it may be your turn to vote for a Democrat (just as I — a presumptive Democrat — have, on two occasions, pulled the lever for a Republican).
    What issues are most important to you? And then I invite other listeners/bloggers to discuss Nathan’s issues and try to persuade him one way or the other. Remember: he’s an Ohio voter. So his vote counts more than yours or mine!
    (Also, if you can call in today (Tuesday), Election Tuesday debates will give you both sides of any issue you choose.)
