Pardon Libby? Impeach the President!

June 19, 2007

VIDEO of show / Audio Archive
If Bush pardons the traitor Scooter Libby to cover up the greater treason of his Vice-President (Cheney being the first Vice President since Aaron Burr to have committed a traitorous act), the President should certainly be impeached. But that’s not the only reason.
Should Bush be impeached for intentional violations of his oath to support the Constitution in his plots to shred the Bill of Rights?
Should Cheny be impeached for treason?
Should Ashcroft be impeached for perjury and for illegally staffing our criminal justice system with political cronies who have 100% loyalty to Bush and 0% loyalty to the USA?
Is impeachment the right legal thing to do? Is it the right political thing to do?
Mark’s guest, Gil Davis, former Attorney to Paula Jones, defends the Administration.

    Madfuq,
Your absolutely right on the Bush loyalty requirement.
What else would Cause Scooter Libby to lie and go to prison for the VP and President?
Its a very twisted loyalty from people that live in a world of men and not law. We have always been a country of law and not of men. Till Bush.
The Dems tried to give Alberto Gonzales a chance to resign. He has already gave false testamony to congress. They will have Rove’s asst Sara Taylor for questioning soon. The Caging that Goodlings told of is being investigated. Then there is the emails. hatch act and Presidential records act that will be upcoming. The Justice dept is a deep hole. Gonzo is in so much heat that even Rush doesn’t want to carry his water for him.

    Gil,
It is illegal to let partisan politics enter into the decision for judge selection as implied by the Washington Post. These judges have appointments for life!!! Is this not criminal and worthy of impeachment also?

    Gil,
What about the prisoners being held without trial in Gitmo, Cuba? Our constitution calls for a quick and speedy trial. Where does 5 years in Cuba come into our constitution?
