    The politics of fear is being whittled with Iran whose nuclear program dates back to Gerald Ford’s time as president–is it to anyone’s surprise that the U.S. at that time put a protective arm around the inception of that technological effort?
    Is a pattern of waylayed U.S. foreign policy with the Middle East starting to form in the minds of the American people–do we realize we are confronted by the mistakes our government made a generation ago? Do we still think the solution resides in compounding those mistakes?
    The answer to the latter appears to be–yes
