Responding to Terrorist Attacks in Britain, Israel, and the USA

(broadcast stream) (.mp3 download Right-click,”Save Target as”,”Save”)
Guest: Robert Friedmann, Ph.D., Professor of Criminal Justice at Georgia State University and a former professor at the University of Haifa in Israel. (Dr. Friedmann is a recognized expert in counter-terrorism techniques and homeland-security strategies. He advises police forces worldwide and has written several books on criminal justice in the US and in Israel.)
Last week, a group claiming to be affiliated with Al Quaeda attacked the London subways, killing more than 50 and wounding hundreds.
Today, a group claiming to be affiliated with Islamic Jihad attacked Netanya, Israel, killing two and wounding dozens. The suicide bombers were prevented from entering a busy shopping mall and doing more damage.
What should the response be in Britain and Israel? What is the proper balance between security and privacy? What lessons should we learn from these attacks in the USA?
Let us pray for the victims and their families.
And let us pray that one day, the USA and Great Britain will have leaders who recognize the scourage of Al Quaeda and radical Islamic terrorism for what it is and devote resources to capturing its leaders, destroying its existing networks in Afghanistan and Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, and persuading Arabs who might support Al Quaeda and radical Islamic terrrorism that Americans do NOT support a Jihad Against Islam.

But my guest today, investigative reporter Peter Lance has some solid evidence backing up his contentions in his new book, Cover Up: What the Government is Still Hiding About the War on Terror (#12 on the Amazon best seller list) that the Government is still covering up information about the deadly terrorist attack that has been subsequently used by the Bush Administration to justify practically everything…
