The Supreme Court has just issued a number of decisions, as it typically does at the end of June when its term ends. Do you know what these decisions mean?
They include:
Bush-declared “enemy combatants” still have a right to due process.
You can’t sue HMOs.
Congress can’t criminalize internet porn.
The Pledge of Allegiance case was dodged on a technicality.
Foreigners have limited right to sue here for acts done abroad.
Republicans can gerrymander in Texas, but Democrats cannot gerrymander in Georgia.
