I think its about time someone told the truth hear. I am an English woman living in America. My grand father and grandmother told us stories of what they did in the war. First my grand father had a fishing boat that went to Dunkirk and fished solders out of the sea and was shot in the arm himself and still went back time and again to save the brave men of America. So many fishermen went to Dunkirk some never came back. But they never thought twice about it. The first time my grandad went with all is crew, all the times after he went with only two to make more room. He said the worst thing was having to leave the dead in the water. and the ones that died within site of England. He always remember the thanks from the solders. When the war was coming to an end my grand mother along with lots of other people had to care for the Jewish prisoners of war. My grand mother worked in the op room. She had to deal with the experiment children. She would cry as she told us the stories. The Dr would be crying has they tryed to repare what had been done to them. Many had to be taken care of wile they died. most had to have weight put back on them befor the could be operated on. I find it hard to even write this as I can see my grandmas tears. My mom said she was never the same after that. A lot of prisoners of war were sent to England to have some weight put back on. my great aunt and uncles had a lot of stories but my grans always made us think about how the world puts blinders on when they dont want to think that people can be so cruel. People forget that the Gypsy’s were treated as cruelly as the jews. But nobody remembers them. Its so sad that the world forgets so easily. I dont understand Mel Gibson’s father if he is really living in this world or is in his own little perfect world. Maybe he is jealous because his Catholic religion and the Bible calls the Jew Gods chosen people?
